Yes, but you’d have to change your user name again.

Especially when every attempt at the Holy Grail results in everyone involved dying and the item being lost to time once again.

This is the holy-grail of comments.

Is Jalopnik, like, contractually obligated to attach “Holy-Grail” to every description of this engine?

Came here to post this. Not disappointed. Seriously, sixth-grade errors?

it’s a racing team that sells cars to fund it’s racing team

PRND makes me so angr

The V8 wagon of my wildest dreams have neither PRND nor two pedals.

Because Tesla Owner, There solved the mystery for you

My conclusion is that Tesla should include a seat shaker when autopilot is engaged make sure the driver doesn’t doze off.  Maybe that and force the driver to perform some function at a timed interval.

I’ve always liked the irony of an enormous fuel tank being turned into a car with hardly any capacity for fuel

Yeah, two alignments a year seem nuts. Obviously if parts of the suspension are changed, you’ll want an alignment, or if you notice the car pulling or having uneven tire wear, but there’s no reason to do it just because. Hitting a pothole generally shouldn’t change your alignment unless it damages something. Changing

I’ve never had my alignment done in 7 years in a Miata. Tires wear normally. They are rotated front to back, not side to side. Why should I have a realignment? I could see it if I was having issues or got new suspension components.

Because horsepower is really a measure of torque. The V8 makes more torque per revolution than the 2.7. As a result, the 2.7 must do more work to make up the difference. Unfortunately, internal combustion engines aren’t efficient, and most of the work ends up wasted in heat and exhaust.

I don’t understand the argument that “smaller engines have to work harder”, and therefore use more fuel.

Real men put the trans on their chest and dead lift it into place.

The automatics aren’t too bad, but the manuals with having to keep the clutch plate / flywheel lined-up is kinda a pain.

DI tick is real, but I don’t think thats what’s going on here...purely based on the pattern.
