Thinking it might be Rock Star
Thinking it might be Rock Star
Saw that in the theater.
Definitely an overlooked performance, Those are probably my two favorite scenes in the movie. I could relate to McKenzie's character where he's aware of his problems, but can't get out of his own way. Amy Adam's last line in the meercat scene is so touching. Very underrated movie.
The episode where they thought they were dealing with the Mafia was a low point.
This is not Mel Torme.
Chocolate Mousse has one line in Raiders of the Lost Ark. He's the crewman who spots Indy on the U-boat.
Lucas did take the majority of the Crystal Skull criticism unfairly in my opinion. It's not like Spielberg is Richard Marquand or Willard Hyuck.
I remember enjoying those specials, but their hard on for Lucas went too far with their Half in the Bag episode on Red Tails. I didn't have a problem with their review of Red Tails. (Unfortunately, it's not a good movie).
Can't wait for this docu-sequel to rip Lucas a new one for having the gall to donate billions off the sale for education. FOR SHAME LUCAS!
I would have loved Kalan's comments on "attack the war, but leave the warrior alone"
I enjoyed the Flophouse's version, but We Hate Movies picked and shredded the bones off that movie. While I liked the Floppers' take, I really didn't gain much else from the backstory behind Easy Rider 2. I don't even think they mentioned the producer/writer/star's name. A lot of times, you can tell the Floppers…
Murphy showing up for the special would probably be the watch see moment since he hasn't been at 30 Rock for the last 30 years. We've seen other legends like Steve Martin appear on these anniversary specials countless times that the wow factor just wouldn't be as high as a Murphy appearance. (It's still cool to see…
I thought the movie was just okay. If you want to emulate 3 Days of the Condor, you have to go all the way with playing up the ambiguity and paranoia. Have the movie end with Hydra losing the helicarriers, but still firmly entrenched as world powers. Caps, a celebrated hero at the beginning, has to end the movie on…
This was a top 5 episode for me right when Jeff or Wingman killed Destro addressing the issue every 10 year old kid had watching those episodes. They waste that much ammo and no one gets a scratch.
"She was only 16 years old. She was only 16 years old."
I remember Apatow joking about Freaks and Geeks being "a comedy if you like the jokes and a drama if you don't find it funny." I feel that applies to Girls. I didn't mind the first season, but at best I'd chuckle over one or two jokes.
Broad City's one of the funniest shows out there and I doubt those gals will get a fraction of the publicity they deserve.
That quote sums up why I don't listen to a number of film podcasts anymore.
We Hate Movies is the one bad movie podcast where I'll wait until I have a chance to catch the film they're covering in a given week. Waiting nearly a week to watch Hard Target was more than worth it. If it's a movie I haven't seen, I check Netflix Instant to see if it's available.
I skip The Daily Show whenever Bill O' Reilly or Brian Williams is on. Those are my least favorite interviews because it's so obvious they're just lame lovefests which highlight the sorry state journalism is in. Stewart follows Ray Winstone's line from the Departed about "guys you can hit and guys you can't hit."
