The triumvirate of Lucas, Spielberg, and Ford should leave these alone and not just because Ford is pushing 70. The hunger these guys had in their thirties to make Raiders just isn't there thirty plus years later. Spielberg's heart clearly hasn't been in these movies since probably after making Schindler's List. As

The local TV station where I worked at was going to air Die Hard 2 the weekend after 9/11. Part of my job was to review all the syndicated movies scheduled to air and the British plane crash sequence was enough to convince us to shuffle the movie to a much later date.

I find myself rooting for Nero or Tara to get away from these people as soon as possible. Did I miss an episode where they replaced Jax's heart with parts from the auto shop? I don't want to see him as a character wracked with self doubt about his actions, but give us some introspection or a little inner conflict once

They get me through office drudgery each week. I hope AV Club will cover those scrappy underdogs next year.

Jax has pissed off nearly every ethnic gang, that i won't be surprised if Sutter writes in the Ewoks as potential allies until Jax guns them down to win favor with the Gungans and the Irish.

That's cool. I'm getting tired of reading a number of comments on other websites. A lot of websites' comment sections I read have devolved to the point where the majority of people agree with their host/master and scare off the few dissenters. It just turns into a bizarre cult atmosphere where the "Tell 'Em Steve

I don't listen to a large number of podcasts, so I don't claim to be an expert or sage on all things podcasting. Here's a few I would recommend and others I'm no longer listening to these days.

Their recommendation segment is pretty cool. I discovered Walker because of Elliot and I thank him for that. I wish Elliot would drop in on other film podcasts more often because the guy clearly knows his film history and can bring the funny. (This gives him an advantage over other film podcasts hosts who fail so hard

Sorry, you don't like We Hate Movies. I think their negativity is justified most of the time when they target why a particular film fails. For example, in their recent episode of "Date With An Angel" the guys are dumbfounded over why the filmmakers punished Phoebe Cates' cuckolded character for no reason while

I'm a big fan of Digital Gonzo particularly with how they formatted their movie podcasts, so it's not just a few guys droning on about one title and being insufferable snarky assholes about it.

The worst part was the hashtag they created referring to him. Thankfully, they retired it.

The Auteurcast is a favorite of mine. They select a filmmaker and devote an entire episode to each one of their films.

I never heard of Tuff Turf until listening to that episode and the crew did a great job explaining why the movie never became a fixture on basic cable ala Breakfast Club.

Volcano
Tuff Turf
I loved She's All That, but it will be hard to listen again due to recent tragic events.

After the success of the first Ghostbusters, Murray took a break from lead roles for a few years; even going to France to study acting. He could have easily played up the Venkman persona during that time in cash grab projects, but didn't.

I was so glad Colbert Report finally won the Emmy which was overdue a few years ago.

Jax really wanted the IRA to blow up the auto shop as a peace offering, I'm sure. Jax's earlier diplomatic skills with the Irish worked out so well for those 2 red shirt Sons (Lumpy & Ethnic) they were given the good grace to be shot in their heads before dismemberment. Jax also has done a top flight job of making

I listen to a few podcasts where the hosts' bitterness and negativity seem to form a puss on my earbuds. I've pulled them out of my rotation because I can only take so much loathing and contempt. I never get that impression with The We Hate Movies gang. They seem very down to earth and appreciative of their listeners.

Pierre pointing a finger at the camera

I eagerly wait to hear Pierre's opinion on the handling of the Mandarin in Iron Man 3.
