Curious use of ‘brilliant.’

As a non-book-reader, my take on the scene with Egwene and Perrin wasn’t that she secretly burned Perrin’s ropes; it was that he ALSO channeled to burn through his own ropes. Of course with the eye-color effect it makes more sense that would be connected to his wolf powers, but for me it wasn’t explicitly clear.

My son is dealing with bullies at this very moment (the last couple of weeks), so this article is well-timed and appreciated. I’ve advised variations on many of these, but there’s definitely some new tactics to try.
