I consider There Will Be Blood one of the best films ever made and think The Master was pretty terrible, so the answer to that is yes.

The Dark Knight was not from this decade.

Anyone else notice that Wynn Duffy asked for a vehicle that could hold several large duffel bags? Anyone wonder how Wynn even knew the money was in duffel bags when Markham, Katherine Hale, Boyd, and Ava are the only ones who had seen them? Someone's conspiring with Duffy…

I always saw the keystone moment in "The Master" as the desert motorcycle scene, with Paul Thomas Anderson ripping away madly towards distant, strange mountains while the audience stood back at the car and shouted "Where the fuck are you going?" to no avail.

Boon's not going to kill Raylan.

I don't think anyone's going to miss Nicky Augustine, especially considering that he continued to threaten Raylan's family in his last scene.

Graham Yost hinted heavily at the manner of Boyd's fate in last night's postmortem discussion, so you can read that if you'd like or avoid it if you don't want a hint.

I think Boyd's probably the only one of the three that will die but Raylan's going to lose his badge for sure. I also don't think Ava gets away with the money.

See above. It's probably not 60 minutes; that's just a holding time for the network.

It's probably not 60. All of the episodes are listed as one-hour blocks at the beginning of the season because the show is typically still being produced when Episode One airs. The actual length of an episode usually isn't known until the airdate.

Fixed!

FINAL SCENE
After a tense and bloody shootout, Raylan enters a mountaintop chapel to find an empty casket. From behind him a voice.

I think Raylan was trying to get Boyd to just say that, not that Raylan was saying it for himself.

Raylan's not going to do anything that takes him anywhere near true Vic Mackey territory because this is an Elmore Leonard show, and in Elmore's universe protagonist cops can be assholes but are almost universally a force for good.

As a badge-carrying lawman I can tell you that once you toss that badge it doesn't matter what you do, good or bad: that shield is the only thing that gives you legal authority. Nothing that Raylan did in this episode was done as a Marshal.

Duffy ratted then had Poole whacked so that no one would find out. That seems pretty clear. He lied to Vasquez to keep from incriminating himself (although it's possible he was being honest in not knowing the actual identity of Poole's killer since he farmed it out).

Time lengths typically aren't revealed until the day of airing. I'd be willing to bet this one goes 5-10 minutes longer than normal.

And yes, it was Dewey's necklace.

Graham Yost said in the postmortem on Yahoo that the identity of the person called is supposed to be a mystery.

I think Duffy's version of "on the offensive" is "wait for all these motherfuckers to kill each other then sneak in the back door and take the money while they bleed out".
