One major difference between myself and Jimmy: I have no problem whatsoever being known as a "foot guy".

Anyone traumatized by boning Lindsey needs to take his ass back to Ohio.

Seriously, did David Tate kill one person that you miss?

I do. It means "a lot of piñatas".

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. And yeah, you're right about the blood.

And also partially based on El Guapo!

I never thought about it being a flash-forward to the end of the season. I always thought it was a flash-forward to something in the first episode—didn't Eleanor have the property manager killed there?

English is the first language for neither, but Kruger has the added difficulty of having to modulate German-speakers' tendency to treat everything as if it should be screamed. ;-)

Yeah, don't think for a second that El Capitan didn't relay Marco's threat back to Fausto. Fausto and Marco both have to know that they've been handling live wires in their dealings with one another.

Again in fairness, I think Marco's own feelings were mixed. I'm not on board with Molly's assertion that Marco was only saying that he wanted Tate to suffer every day since he suffered every day…as a father I can understand that completely. But I also think he was a little tired of David Tate haunting him and

And now we definitively know why Eleanor didn't flip her shit when Fausto caressed her face in the dungeon-looking place.

In fairness, what exactly could Marco do to stop Fausto from killing Tate if he wanted to?

Plus, there was that whole ominous 'goodbye' from Fausto to Marco, which sounded awfully final in nature.

Yep, I got the sense that Fausto offed Tate to spite Marco, not to assist him.

Eleanor appreciates people like Cesar. They're bit players who know their role and don't stir the pot.

Shades of "Michael Corleone, do you renounce Satan?" in the David Tate murder scene. And I know that Tate is a terrible person, but that was fucking awful to watch.

There's no shortage of good shows on TV. But very few achieve greatness, even for one episode. Tonight, this show achieved greatness.

This comparison is monstrously unfair to the child.

I know it's LA we're talking about here but the one negative thing I have to say about this show is how Kether Donohue, who is fucking gorgeous and has an amazing body, is playing a "fat girl".

I appreciate that a show like this, which is ostensibly watchable because it allows us to observe humorously awful people be humorously awful, is actually attempting (key word still "attempting" as of now) to say something meaningful about war veterans that a lot of other more serious shows either avoid or fuck up
