Recently flew overseas.  It’s amazing how many people think that their nose is somehow not connected to their respiratory system, and how often the same people needed to be repeatedly told by the flight crew to pull their mask up over their nose.

This may come as a shock, but it’s possible that both are true.  It’s not a this-or-that thing.

A combo of tech-shaming and ageism. Not very woke. Or is that term now

Which is literally the last lines of the article.

Or, bear with me, let the blogger and hosting platform know that slideshows are a pain in the ass and serve no real purpose other than to generate more ad revenue.

“Thankfully, you have the option to disable the most annoying features, if you truly hate them.”

Influenza can be traced back in history to about 6000 BC. As the world population grew denser and more mobile, we did have a variety of pandemics that where devastating.

Maybe because it’s not “magically” different, but demonstrably different.

Exactly.  A lot of it comes down to being inconsiderate of others.

“In the meme, a white man uses a plastic stencil to give himself a perfectly shaped goatee.”

How...... American.  Only do some that benefits others if you can also somehow benefit from it as well.

Your rant has probably driven more people to look it up than to ignore it. Just saying.

With the other tracker devices already on the market and doing less to prevent “stalking”, it seems odd to me that suddenly everyone’s overly concerned about Apple’s version.

If you’re getting something in return, it’s not really “donating”, now is it? You’re selling your blood/plasma.
