Unless you’re cooking a massive amount. I have a huge steel container that I once tried to make spaghetti sauce in. The problem with doing it on the stovetop was that to heat the whole batch needed too much heat on the bottom, I ended up burning it and ruining the whole batch. Putting that same pot in the oven solves

Actually, weight loss is driven primarily by food moderation, exercise is a secondary tool. But then if you knew that then you wouldn’t be trolling, right?

For the crock pot, the “science” part of the test would have been having two pots, one using just water and the other with water and dryer sheets. By itself, without a controled baseline, the test is meaningless and no conclusion should have been made.

Am I the only one that likes the slow, messy method of just peeling it and eating the seeds as they get exposed? I tend to do this while watching TV, so the lengthy process is actually sort of cathartic and relaxing.

Free at pretty much any pharmacy in Ontario, as long as you have your Ontario health card.

I second this. Have had this model for a while now and nothing but happy with it. Yes, it does take up a fair amount of counter-top space and is not the cheapest of items, but it performs very well and often saves me from having to use my full-size oven.

I have a Samsung induction range that I am mostly very pleased with. The big pluses are fast heat and also very controlled heat. I can melt butter slowly and not worry about it, or boil a pot of water fairly fast.

All that is well and good. But for me, the "Eat less, move more" works. And for me, it does all come down to willpower.

Dear Lifehacker. You may have reached the point where there is nothing left to hack.

And they probably redesigned the whole sick bay too! I know engineers, they love to change things.

To quote "What's your point?" Your response had pretty much nothing to do with what I said.

I love fried foods as much as the next guy. My pet peeve though is the title. At no point is any of this "healthier" for you. It's just "less bad" for you. It's like electric cars touting that they are good for the environment. No they aren't, they are just less damaging than other cars.

I buy my hard cheese (Parmesan) in large wedges but don't go through it very fast. My solution to avoiding mold is to wrap the cheese in 1 layer of paper towel and then use a vacuum bag to tightly seal it, then storing it in the "butter" area of the fridge door. That seems to work very well for me and keeps the

Change the sentence "I definitely view their choice as different from mine..." to "I definitely view their core sexuality as different from mine..." and you will have a better grasp on the issues.

I like Lady GaGa. I love the Muppets.

I understand Nintendo trying to keep costs down by not licensing the appropriate DVD/BluRay stuff. But I would gladly settle for a separate download that I could pay for that would give me the ability to use disc media in my Wii U.

Thanks for the incredible insight with all the backup information and annotations. Wow. Was it hard doing all that research for "bad ingredients"?

If you're fine with going with a more extreme solution, I find that spray-on oven cleaner can get all the crud off as well. Just make sure to rinse the sole plate well before you use it on anything.
