I keep wanting to upgrade to a G16, but then I borrow one and it's no better than my G12. and when you start looking at the functions, they dumbed down the camera. I can do 1 centimeter macro shots with the old G12 and you cant with any of the later iterations.

It's a spreadsheet program with A LOT of portable, functional add-ons, which for most people - and honestly, most businesses- is enough. BUT to do what YOU needed to do, a simple and CLEAN bit of programming was enough.

Evernote's OCR is great because you can photograph recipes from borrowed cookbooks and search them. I tag all produce in the recipes so when I have an abundance, I can easily find a recipe for it.

That's awesome. I'm still rocking the mom-bought Lancer, and it's proven to be a wise decision for all of us.
