It's funny, my fiancee and I were just talking about the reminders thing last night—she was saying she actually has no idea how to set reminders without using her voice. It's far more complicated and time consuming.

Apple and Google's stores are MUCH better. They certainly aren't perfect, but they're doing a much better job of policing this. If you read HTG's post, they go into more detail:

I have no doubt this is the reason. And it's the scummiest reason. Microsoft usually has good intentions, but they've really screwed the pooch on this one.

Expect there's a chorus of people pointing out that this is NOT a list of cars most likely to be stolen, as this chart is lacking a denominator.

Difficulty hotwiring has an effect on car thefts, but that doesn't mean all of these thefts reported were due to hotwiring. These are all-inclusive. Where you park certainly has an effect, but that doesn't mean everything else is unimportant.

yeah, firewall is a must. Outbound and inbound. I only let 443, 80 and 22 out. Inbound the same to specific things.

Not to mention by year six, your payment (adjusted for inflation) gives you a nice little discount from the real money rate. That's the good thing about debt. In times of inflation, debt payments (inflation adjusted) over time get smaller.

Sorry for the quick post, I should have known I would get slack for such limited details.

Unless you're a hedge fund manager, in which case you may be underpaid.

I adhered to this rule and just made a career move that doubled my pay, 100% paid by company insurance plan, and 1% ownership of the company. Plus other incentives like they provide breakfast lunch and dinner. Not that the recruiter was hounding me for it, but they did ask what my current pay was. I side stepped this

I love those blue eggs! And three colors in the same carton. So much more fun than supermarket eggs.

I ♥ both quotes. Have you heard Fran Lebowitz take? Your chances of winning are the same if you play or not.

I love Local Pig! I go there for lunch a lot but never thought to get eggs from there!!

After working at that grocery store all the way through high school and into college, it's great to see a poster on LH who has been to HyVee. Small(ish) world.

The blue/green tinted eggs come from what they call Easter Eggers, Ameraucanas or Araucanas. I have the latter two. You are right that many farmers that free range their chickens use colored egg layers because those breeds tend to be better foragers and evaders of predators. And I can guarantee that if you cracked a

We had about half a dozen Araucana layers (Easter egg chickens; they lay different colors, though each bird lays only one color)- they all produced smaller than average eggs; at least smaller than the the brown egg-layers. The pinks were almost indistinguishable from the light browns, and the blue was terribly pale.

I was hoping that the brown coloring making styrofoam environmentally friendly would have been the giveaway if, by some stretch, somebody was crazy enough to buy the egg-bleaching bit or that brown eggs were somehow recycled, leading to the coloring. *sigh* You're probably right, though; even crazy-talk in text can
