They did. Four years ago. It was called Backbreaker, and it didn't sell at all.

Someone should make a fully customizable football game where you can design the team logos, jerseys, player faces, etc. and allow players to upload their creations for other people to download. A ratings system and a search function would allow people who want to play with an authentic league to do JUST THAT (and

They made money off the license that the 2K games ALREADY PAID. The money that was made back was solely on the shoulders of Visual Concepts.

You forget that the NFL was not pleased with 2K releasing their last game at $20. The NFL wanted to make as much money as possible off their license and EA was willing to foot the bill. It was a decision based on dollars far more than competition.

EA bought exclusivity because they were AFRAID of the competition. That last year, not only was the NFL 2K game *better* than that year's regurgitated Madden title, but it was budget-priced. EA didn't want anything to do with that, so they removed the competition.

I still don't understand how this is even legal. Competition makes you better. Lack of competition results in Madden.

Na na na na nananana Batman.

EVE Online, at the scale of large battles, is DEFINITELY "spreadsheets in space". Most players are completely zoomed out from the combat, unable to actually see any ships clearly, and are following orders to click on people in the "overview" (which is, literally, a spreadsheet) and then pressing "F1" (or just 'f',

EVE is a game I prefer to read about than actually play.

What i see during these gigantic battles:

Let the grossly inaccurate and unoriginal spreadsheet jokes begin!

I think there is a fundamental problem with being friendly in Rust; you can't see what equipment other people have. Story Time:

You're missing the point of the game. The whole thing is about player interaction, and as far as that goes, this is one of the better ones. If you're playing this like CoD or Battlefield then you're doing it wrong. Let's also ignore the fact that the devs are putting in anti- combat logging measures.

In our Rust server, every time I've walked across someone, I've offered them chicken. Plain old cooked chicken. If I have spare clothes, I give them spare clothes. I'm not giving them a weapon unless it's like a pickaxe, though. I don't want to get shot in the back unless I'm sure I'm not going to get ganked.

Why am I getting the impression that DayZ isn't so much a zombie game as it is a terrifying social experiment.

You have a good point there the x51 series seemed to bridge the gap between console and desktop. I know i would prefer a 51 over a steam machine.

"We've purposefully designed the Alienware Steam Machine to be smaller than the latest generation consoles," Alienware general manager Frank Azor told Eurogamer. "Upgrading the internal components will not be as easy as compared to other platforms (...) but we will not prevent a customer from upgrading."

LOL!! You never played EVE, did you?!? You have no idea!! NOOB!

What you imagine it will look like:
