I make turkey stock after Thanksgiving. It lasts all year.

better yet, make your own in large quantities and freeze in plastic containers. just add 2T of water and microwave for 2-3 min. (per cup) when needed. tastes just like it came out of the pot.

NOT a good idea to book the last flight home—unless you want to stay overnight....

we use the McDonald's hamburger test (plain hamburger, not Big Mac).

also, you get a really good discount at Lenscrafters—better than any one that they offer to the general public. if you buy one pair of glasses a year, you'll save the cost of your AAA membership. and you get a discount at the optometrist there, too.

also, when given a choice, go to the left. most people will go to the right.

i have a bottle (not box) of cat litter in my car. it works great and you don't have to go back for the metal

how about in the microwave, cooked between several layers of paper towel? no shrinkage, no fat, all the taste.

I guess that's one way to get fans into the arena when you don't have a decent team........

AMEN!

i am opposed to unions in ANY form. but, if this would break the NCAA's grip on colleges, i'm all for it.

i NEVER shower. i take baths. love feeling warm all over. but i don't have one every day (not a gym goer, nor do i work). hair is short, thin (hey, i'm 66), and i don't wash it every day, just dunk it.

you can also but already cut up onion, green pepper, and celery in most grocery stores. i started doing this for thanksgiving stuffing and it makes everything SO much better.

what happens if you add red wine to cooked turkey? you get purple food. my husband ate it and said it was good, but i couldn't bring myself to eat purple food.

I read somewhere that people now will have an average of 7 careers over their working lifetime. I had 7:
