You fail to mention that the Marlins were in no need of a back end relief role as there closer AJ Ramos was 24-24 that season in save opportunities. They really didn’t need to add a back-end closer type that drastically.

Sometimes the writers here come off as living in a bubble.

If he slides to the back edge of the plate he might be safe.

Not sure that Dame really needed to throw Kanter under the bus there, but I’m sure that Erdogan appreciates the assist.

If waiters gave a six minute time limit for making a decision, my wife would never eat again. HAHAHAHA!

Parade starts in Montreal, ends in Tampa. Half of Quebec makes that trip in November anyway.

but Norfolk’s right fielder forgets how many outs there are....”

I have reliabile in me right now.

Lol, you called Robert Gsellman reliabile.

totally agree. softball is so much more entertaining to watch than baseball. tons of drama and clutch plays. and the crowds actually care which is a nice change of pace from baseball

Agreed. If you’re a sports fan and you’re not watching college softball, you are missing out.

Completely agree, this series was an absolute blast to watch.

That whole series was a lot of fun to watch. The crowd is so into the game, the cameras and mics pick up every bit of chatter from the players, the fielding was (generally) excellent, the pitching ridiculous, and the late-inning bombs were timed for maximum drama.

Right?? How do you go from The Huntsman: Winter’s War to this?

I loved the lack of accents; if anything, it added to the naturalism of the show. I find that using accents to convey “foreignness” is cheesy and sometimes even distracting.

I didn't even think about it. I actually think it's weird when a film or show has actors doing an accent of the language spoken during the real events. So I found it to be a breath of fresh air.

I’ll second River.  I’ve watched it multiple times as well and recommend it anytime I can.  Nicola’s my favourite actress, but they’re both incredible in that.  I’ve liked him in many things, but that’s probably his best work.

Most people might recognize him as the professor who mentors Matt Damon’s character in “Good Will Hunting”, but please, please, if your in the mood for a damn good mini series, head over to Netflix and watch “River”. It stars him and the equally brilliant Nicola Walker. I refuse to take it off my watch list even after

I wanted to say that Funny People....it should have had Sandler begin to decline and die at the end. I honestly thing AS could have meade that believable and touching. I was so disappointed they through some bulldhit ending on it.
