What I find most interesting about the Stoltz/Fox changeover is how radically different the costuming is. Goes to show you how much an actor's personality can inform what he or she wears in a movie. I just wonder what the original script's gags were re: Stoltz's new-wavy outfit, compared to the lines about Fox's puffy

Not only that, she was an awesome human being - speaking out against the Vietnam War, standing up for women's and gay rights, and being a tireless AIDS activist. She also donated a lot of time and money to help the disabled. In fact I have yet to read a single negative thing about Ms. Montgomery, and I hope I never do.

I always thought "chert" meant when you try to fart and accidentally turn into a fabulous, raven-haired diva.

I just sent my mom a text asking her for money, does that count?

If anyone's reading this: Hi! I'm old.

With cameo by punk rockers Pain, singing "I Dig Pain".

I know him personally. We were roommates in college. He'd routinely wake me up in the middle of the night by standing on my bed and peeing in my face. He called it the "Golden Rooster". Not a nice guy!

I still call them flickers.

She knew exactly what she was doing.

We really do call it WeHo!

Geographical context for AV Clubbers who don't live in L.A.: The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) covers the city of West Hollywood. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) does not. The LASD arrested Wyclef Jean because he was in WeHo.

Michael Rooker (mis)quoted the line in the 1989 film Sea of Love. Your gay circle was behind the times!

Chuck Yeager – or to you, Chuck Beager.

Well, that's the thing about private giving: it's optional. If poor folks decide not to give any money to the ACLU during this telethon, then that's their decision, what's the problem.

When it comes to taxes, I agree. But when it comes to private giving, who are you or I to say how much another person should be giving away? Almost everybody can give more than what they're giving, but at some point you gotta just butt out and let people give what they want. Something's better than nothing.

Ugh, that's the same tired argument conservatives use: "Those limousine liberals! If they're not giving away the bulk of their income, then they're hypocrites!" Anyway, what do any of us know about how much any given celebrity is giving away to nonprofits. It's always good to spread the word and get more people

I was a semi-regular at Slimmons for a few years, and I can tell you this: first of all, Richard was extremely extroverted and loved attention. So his sudden withdrawal from friends and public is very confusing. Second, as anyone who'd been to Slimmons during the last few years can attest, Richard would frequently

Make it Nichelle Nichols and this movie will be both unwatchably bad and awesomely life-affirming.
