I absolutely loved Assassination Vacation, but The Wordy Shipmates got so bogged down in quoting old pamphlets and sermons that I got bored and gave up halfway. Hoping this new book has more of Vowell's own voice in it.

I'm really confused right now. I have the Splendor soundtrack on CD. I am looking at it at this very moment. There is no Chemical Bros. remix of Spiritualized's "I Think I'm in Love". Was it re-released with this track added?
I think Split is a perfect album on all fronts. Gala is good, but uneven at times. Spooky is a little samey-samey and boring ("For Love" is a great single though). Ladykillers is more Britpop than shoegaze. But yeah, Split is fantastic.
