Agreed, I think I'll have to grab one for safe keeping since I'm not going to cancel my contract for a few months...

No offense but if you're getting an ice cream maker out, why not just make ICE CREAM....
It's supposed to be bad for you, it's not like he's providing a way to have a fat free, yet tastes the same as ice cream solution. I'm sure when we eat regularly made ice cream it's similar to shoveling fat into our mouths anyways....at least here you can make sure you know how high quality the ingredients are!
I just resigned an AT&T contract because I got an iPhone 5 for free. I wanted to buy out right, but even if I get contract and break I'm still getting a new phone for far less than full price, the deal made sense to me. So I plan on breaking that contract in a few months and keeping the phone. That'll free me up to…
They didn't try valiantly, they at every opportunity decided to screw the very people that made the "box" a possibility! The people, I was one of them, who supported boxee as a software package that really changed a lot, were often left wanting more! Avner religiously "forgot" to fix problems and turned a blind eye to…
Vote: Weber Kettle one-touch FTW! Don't be cheap and get Silver model, be smart and go Gold!
If you are not keen on using a putty knife just buy a dough scraper of the metal variety and that'll do the same work! I have one entirely made of metal, it's thin and bends very well so I use that to pick up chopped veggies and the like.
I do the same thing, I have a roaster literally around the block from my house here in SoCal and they charge me 10-11$ for a 12oz bag. I go through that bag in about 17 days, and that's because I only drink 12oz of coffee per day.
I find myself doing this with my pour over, and as Alan replied very good points. I used this practice when making iced coffee, basically make a stronger coffee concentrate with either an aeropress or even a pour over and refrigerate. Pour concentrate over ice, maybe add some water (if needed) and drink! I've also…
I came to find that the grinder sold through the link above is really a Hario skerton, the glass is Hario and the ceramics are from Kyocera. If you buy the Kyocera version it's like 9 dollars more than the Hario one, strange! I pealed the Kyocera sticker from the bottom of the glass jar of mine and it said, "Hario"!
I have a Pixie too, I'd have to say for someone who is not ready to buy a 3K machine this pumps out consistently good shots! I am hoping to get a Gran Maestro with the milk frother wand one of these days.
Are you referring to this ginder: http://www.amazon.com/Kyocera-CM-50-…
As much of a coffee snob that I think I am, I have NO clue on how to prepare the correct format of espresso, so I use a Pixie myself. I am a huge fan of consistency in all things in my life, so the nespresso machine I have fills that ridiculous need I have. Now for a regular cup of joe I will use my V60, French Press,…
VOTE: Hario V60 pour over. Normally I'd say Aeropress but the V60 is amazing!
No it's called living in California! There is a reason the license plate in the above picture is from CA, tags get swiped every day! I've been cutting my stickers for as long as I've lived in CA....it's a terrible pain in the ass!
lipids to grease a pan are never considered ingredients, wow that sounded to pretentious! Sorry
I saw that, something tells me it also heats besides circulating the water, which is awesome and makes this quite compact and capable. Price is a bit high to be honest, but if it works, it's worth it's weight in gold!
I'm a bit confused by this device, does it just circulate bubbles or does it heat the water to that precise temp?
I find making an EXTRA strong batch of coffee using an aeropress works wonders! Make a large volume of it and your set!
This is a good BBQ 101 tip, since learning this my ribs have been rub WAY better!
