And the roads are really not that bad - they see so little traffic they are in mostly good shape.”
You’re in a different part of the state from me, that’s for sure, haha! In my area, the roads with less traffic are usually worse (with the notable exception of the local “industrial park” where the roads may swallow

^^^ This this this. Our roads are fun but they’re horribly maintained. Between most of the state being extremely rural and the constant flux between blistering cold and too hot (it was 0°F less than a week ago, and then over 70° the next day) expanding and contracting the roads repeatedly, then water gets in, freezes

This this this.

You like the one sitting in his driveway too? woah.

Is it just me, or does the back end of the supra have a similar problem to the new 7-series’ front? I’m honestly not a big fan of the new supra from most angles.... I think the side profile is OK, but from just about any angle other than 90° it looks one too many steps close to a Hot Wheels custom design to me.

Morgan is a good one, but I’m not a fan of 3-wheelers... Everything else they’ve made is gorgeous, but I don’t get the appeal of the 3-wheeled Morgans.
W motors seem the most obvious answers to me, although it seems to be an unfair fight if you’ve only made a total of 9 or 10 cars (I believe that includes the

most likely the same thing it did pre-pandemic...

This guy didn’t read the subheading... You win a paddling!

An old Sunfire my dad bought for $300 in ~2014. The clutch was just barely hanging on and the shifter linkage broke mid-drive while we were out one day, and I had to “repair” it with zip ties from the passenger seat while we were moving (thankfully, we didn’t have to stop anytime soon)... The initial zip ties didn’t

You drive a Rolls to escape the peasants, you need it to be long to keep them further away from you...

Hey, hey, hey... It’s 4 people... There are 2 blues, a red, and a yellow... But yeah, the sea of greyscale is pretty depressing.

Does it actually work that way? I’d always assumed there were other requirements that prevented the smaller sub-brands from doing this, otherwise what would prevent Tesla from spinning of a new sub-brand every time they got close to hitting their target? Seems like the kind of thing Elon’s team would be all over.

Not feasible in all areas... I live in PA and even with stock ride height, assuming you’re not driving a truck, you will scrape something at some point... the holes are everywhere!... There is ONE legitimate reason everyone around here drives with their king ranches lifted...

That was my first thought... but the wheelbase is a bit too short for that, and if you look closely, the roofline does continue back, it’s just faded.

Once they get a taste for blood...

Maybe the loss in transmission is more than I think, or I’m missing a fundamental piece of the puzzle here, but this is why I don’t get why EVs typically don’t do more than a single gear... Wouldn’t it still be more efficient to have a higher gearset for cruising at highway speeds?

at least one does... I had one pull up next to me at a Shell once.

let’s talk about what happens in ten years when the thousands of people that bought a Maverick want to trade in for something that’s pretty much the same. What new car will Ford sell them?

I’m hoping by then that that people are nostalgic for cars and we get more coupes, sedans, and wagons... but more likely I see it

Sounds like your perfect car is the musty shitbox my grandparents had when I was growing up...
