"I can’t mount a film of this budget, where I have to rely on tax rebates in Spain, and say that my lead actor is Mohammad so-and-so from such-and-such. I’m just not going to get it financed. So the question doesn’t even come up." Ridley Scott

Not just him but also Daniel Kaluuya! Ever since I saw him on The Fades I knew he could be big if he got the right parts, and that doubled after that Black Mirror episode. But now between Sicario, this, and Get Out I think he's finally going to get to show off his range. I'm pulling for the dude!

The first part of this episode was like black My Dinner with Andre and it was amazing. The passive aggressive back and forth was too real. And that long take of Jayne slowly reaching for her phone was gold. I wonder how many takes of that they had to do because I wouldn't be able to keep it together.

i can't wait for Misty and Colleen to meet up!

Right, so I mean they're teasing it, but like you say it could just be another twist they have to work their way out of to get Luke free.

Well the guy in the shop found the files that supposedly exonerate Luke so I feel like that might be his literal get out of jail free card.

Well hopefully we'll get a solid Danny/Misty relationship out of it.

Am I the only one who read Shades as possibly gay/asexual? I saw that kiss scene as like she thinks she's making a power play and he was totally not into it. And the look on his face afterwards was like a "if she only knew" look.

Huh, thanks for the info. That's a little disappointing, but even still, they managed to make the setting stand out from not just the other Netflix series but the MCU in general. It really did feel like Luke Cage's turf, and not just general NY.

You are a national treasure!! I didn't even catch Bieber dabbing in the background the first time!!

So for me Luke Cage just edges out Jessica Jones as my favorite Marvel Netflix series (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil S1, DD Season 2). I think what pushes it above is 1.) The setting of Harlem which just brought so much life to the show. From just the architecture to the people and the energy, it really gave the

I'm seriously sad I can't find just that part anywhere! That would be my go to "I'm out!" Gif.

But what about Benihana's!!!?

"Inconsequential artist." I'd disagree, I'd say his art is very sequential…I'll show myself out.

Best part of the episode was the way the reporter Al was hitting on shimmied away to that Bieber song. I need a gif of that immediately!

Was there anyone else in the game? I saw him and Lloyd but I was looking to see if there was any other Atlanta celebs doing cameos.

I cannot wait for that Kate Bishop solo book. Finally the best Hawkeye gets some shine!

Suicide Squad anyone? I had no expectations of it actually being good, in fact given the trailers I was hoping it was going to be laughably bad. Just a dumb action movie with some cheesy lines and over acting but it couldn't even have the decency to give me that.

Al and Darius' relationship is so perfect, especially just the little moments between them, like Darius coming to pick him up from jail with food ready or them just singing in the car together. You can tell they genuinely care for each other. I could watch them argue about that key all day.

Braindead was already on TV? I guess that goes to show how much attention I'm paying to CBS. Next you're going to tell me they have some kind if streaming only Star Trek show in the works…
