Right, I remember seeing that comic. Whatever happened to Jericho? Is he still around somewhere?

I still have to read that, as I've heard it's the best of the Rebirth stuff. Is it something they really play on in the series or is it something that's kind of stated and not really harped on too much?
Too true. At least give the poor kid a nickname or just say his name is Walter or Wallace.
Bale Batman would not approve.
Yeah it's a bit jarring. I much preferred the old site and it feels like a lot of the discussion has died down. Maybe there's stuff going on in the forums but the Facebook commenting has certainly hurt things.
*Shakes head solemnly*
That's just bizarre because that feels like an entirely separate thing. So am I supposed to believe that the main Batman title and All-Star are happening at the same time?
All of that is definitely fair. It's hard because she was basically a backup character in the first arc while her brother was the one who got the most character. King has said she's going to be a big part of future arcs so we'll see how he builds her up. I do feel bad for Duke though. The One Shot made it seem like he…
That stuff was so good! I wish they could bring back that feeling again. Teen Titans for the last 10 years or so has been pretty dull or oddly self serious. Wolfman/Perez were able to find that balance of youthful spirit with the ups and downs of growing up, plus some awesome super-hero action!
I kind of read her insanity being a mix of Psycho Pirate's effects on her, plus the grief of her brothers death (and her parents too), and just general lack of life experience. She's still relatively young, so who knows how she'd react normally to someone that close dying. Add on top of that these weird emotions she…
I haven't even heard of Local Comic Store Day. Comic shops are definitely going to have to evolve a bit as the industry continues to change. I think Atomic Books here in Baltimore is a good example. It's kind of an all purpose underground store that has a bunch of books and magazines, but also a fairly extensive comic…
Yeah, it's strange how they'll go back and forth between trying to do something new and innovative to draw in new readers but then quickly panic and announce they're bringing back everything you loved, thus alienating a bunch of those new readers they just brought in. For example, I wonder what happened to all the…
I'm just curious how long they'll continue to double ship things. It feels like they're going to burn through story/artists very quickly. A bunch of books needed fill ins on just the second issue. I wonder what the plan is if sales start to slip around the beginning of next year?
Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that at all. Watchmen and the main DCU just don't mesh well.
Very true. I feel really bad for 52 Wally because there's no way he's really going to catch on now that original Wally is back, not to mention half of Central City seemingly has super speed so he's not even that unique. And what ever happened to that new Power Girl they tried to do?
Right. Like I'm all good with Wally being back and Oliver and Black Canary being a thing again, but it's stuff like this that seems like they didn't think things all the way through. None of it's a big deal, but stuff like the three Jokers running around or Ted Kord suddenly existing when he hadn't before seem bizarre…
I can see that. I was a little confused because I wasn't sure if there were multiple versions of Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy running around. It's just kind of weird that they're touting Titans as the return of the original team when more than half of the team aren't there.
It does help in that I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy in trying to figure this all out. I'm just gonna not think about things too much going forward.
Black Panther has been awesome so far, and I can't wait for the next issue, but I have a pressing question for comic nerds who have been following Rebirth.
I went to go see Where The Wild Things are in theaters when it came out and the theater was basically me, another 20 something, and two families with 3 or 4 kids each. By the end of the movie all the kids where up in the front running around, while me and the other person where silently weeping in the back.
