I can’t agree more with your sentiment about games this generation. I have felt like I’ve been in a gaming funk since completing Breath of the Wild.

Considering at how many people I know who never use the dock for much more than as a charging station I think this is a smart move by Nintendo and shows they are paying attention to how people use their consoles. Me, I’m one of those weirdos that plays it more in docked mode.
Third week in a row of Splatfests! This game is spoiling me
Horizon: Zero Dawn. Because of my backlog I waited until the full edition with the DLC was released and picked it up then. At the time r/gaming was pretty enamored with it, with screenshots being posted daily so when I finally got to play it, I don’t know, maybe it was over hyped for me. I loved it at first, but I…
I read “Wild Guns” as “Wild Arms” and got really excited. Dammit.
I have a Nyko Switch dock but only use it occasionally on a backup TV in another room. Thank you for reporting on this and saving my Switch from certain doom
Ok. But tell us how you really feel.
Friend of mine is still damaged from the time he watched Wild Things on VHS with his parents in the room
Bought mine on Day 1 and love it. Immediately took it with me on vacation. It fits inside my case and worked well with the hotel TV. There was some connectivity issues at first but they were minor (you had to turn the Switch on and then connect it to the dock) but that was fixed with a firmware update.
After all the screenshots I’ve seen people posting on Reddit I have been dying to get my hands on the Switch version of A Night in the Woods.
Holy shit. I thought it was just me. We need a subreddit for the crockpot taste now that I know there are others out there
I have a similar issue. My rig is still running an AMD Phenom II CPU and 660Ti GPU (I first built it back in ‘09). But I’ve always been more of a console gamer and my wife only plays The Sims 4, Civ V, and Cities: Skylines so I’m not in a big rush.
I use the $60 price point for comparison to literally everything these days. Last week I had a basement water specialist out to gave me a quote on waterproofing my basement. The project involves digging a trench around the inside perimeter and he charges $60 per foot. The quote came to around $11,000. It made me think…
Ummm Horizon Zero Dawn?
Almost as good as the Amy Grant song....almost.
The book has three sections so it makes sense to have three seasons. Though it worries me that the second season would just be Shadow palling around some resort town
Why bother trying to move up the scale if only to try and look more pretentious. If you like a certain whisky drink that whisky. I usually drink either Royal Thistle ($20) or Glenmorangie Original ($30). I also like Bully Boy Bourbon ($40) but never stray far from those unless it’s a gift or I’m out and feel like…
I don’t know if it counts as “bad” but since there has never been a sequel to Mutant League Football, and no, Mutant League Hockey doesn’t count.
It was my favorite of the series until Symphony of the Night
I’m playing this now an I just can’t get into the character. I loved Ashly Burch as Chloe Price and Tiny Tina but as Aloy, I feel like she’s not really sure what she should be doing and her acting comes off as Rick Deckard internal monologue bad
