I hope this game doesn't turn into the Silicon Knight effect. Spend over a decade of planning and making a game, then it turns into a mediocre game.

Man I can't imagine how much Sony's new PSP2 is going to cost, considering the first PSP cost 300 bucks.
@jandlecack: You must take in consideration that this is a country that you can rob a house, get hurt by robbing the house (lets say the owner leaves a knife on the counter and you cut yourself on the knife while breaking in) sue the owner for leaving the knife out, and win.
@crabperson: Not only that it's so slow, and leaves you so open to climb down those damn things you might as well just fall down and hope you survive, actually I think you have a higher chance of surviving just leaping off than climbing down in MW2 lol.
I recall people and new casts going ape shit over Command and Conquer Generals because you can command terrorists too, and they had suicide bombers, and anthrax missiles in the game.....
@square enigma: It's all about natural instinct of fighting that is in our blood.
@Antiterra: yeah if I was the guy that beat up those thugs I would actually be worried about those guys trying to get a hold firearms and actually killing me considering they are probably not happy about having their robbery busted.
I like the idea of this but it begs to be on another hardware like the iPad.
@Taggart6: yeah I thought she was African at least (aka the dreads and the avatar of her looked like she had dark skin).
@Roth: I'm not familiar with Little Big Planet and tell me if I'm wrong but isn't it a console only game? If so aren't people restricted to what the console can offer in Little Big Planet?
@dracosummoner: The Sims 3: Twilight
@GrandmasterYoda: The reason I think personally we don't use bullets is the image it portrays when you shoot someone. The chair and the needle are less messy, and less gruesome to look at (though I would think the chair would be a pretty disturbing sight). Plus with the death penalty, there are usually people there…
@ElephantFace: "I know I'd rather die then spend the rest of my life in prison."
The whole "God hates *insert anything*" is completely ironic.
@dowingba: Well those onion rings are about the size of Sonic's body, so it's not surprise eating 37 of them would explode Sonic into a morbid tub of lard.
@JGab: "Second: Why are we being specific to video games? Movies have the same standards, CDs have the same standards- self-regulation. Why is there a fundamental societal interest in protecting children from just a small portion of just video games?"
I'm going to get flamed for this but Sex != Violence. The act of sex is completely different then the act of Violence.
One of the biggest problems here with the whole "birth of Samus" video is that there are previous games that show the brief history of Samus. Good example Metroid: Zero Mission. When you beat the game on hard mode you get a gallery showing a brief history of Samus.
@Invisible-Echidna: I like paintball more. Just a personal preference. Knowing those paintballs hurt like hell when you get hit by one puts you in a completely different mind set than playing Laser Tag. Also counting in paintball trajectory makes the game all more intense knowing the ball doesn't move in a…
@greatsage10001: I do agree with not showing your name in a forum wont stop stalkers. Look at much of the news on Kotaku, people been stalked and killed playing Counter Strike, and I bet their forums are much more chaotic than the blizzard forums.
