The bartender still needs to know how to propely set/check the temp/humidity control, and what crystal barware would be best for the drink. You’d also think if the bar is charging $250 for a pour they’d be paying their bartender a living wage.

A bartender’s effort isn’t always seen. Some are required to keep up w/ education on these expensive Scotches which may or may not be provided by their employer. Either way they may have education that would require a higher pay out than if they were just pouring $10 drinks. Of course there’s really no good way of…
I didn’t want the show to go in this direction but I think Midge is going to start doing worse and worse things on her way to the top (or down to the bottom).
Here are a few more tips that could help. I’d also like to preface these tips w/ a bit of a statement. You shouldn’t have to follow these tips... you should never be assaulted, but there are bad people in the world and these are opportunities for them to assault you.
1. Don’t fall asleep or take a nap. This is probably…
I’m curious to see if the $1.4 million going price is the actual value of the vehicle or an inflation due to it being the only one for sale. That 2 year restriction on sales should be lifted soon right?
I had a friend who used a car buying service and ended up having a terrible time w/ the whole thing. They wanted a very specific trim for a used car, but they kept sending offers for the wrong trim. Anyway once they found a car it was heavily modded which they loved, but didn’t know heavily modded cars tend to have…
As somebody who buys almost exclusivly digital titles I don’t get the push to remove the disc drive. You’ll cut about $25 off the price which isn’t massive savings when it comes to a $500 system. Eventually the disc drive will die, but there’s no reason to jump the gun.
I’m paranoid my car is gonna get totalled and insurance will only give me KBB value on it which is about half as much as it would cost me to buy the same car in my area.
I had a $150 visa card that was expiring so I tried to use it on an amazon order of $175 only to find out you can’t break up amazon orders between cards so I bought a $150 amazon gift card to bypass the system. Only to find out now I have a $15 credit at amazon because I bought the gift card. So now I’m wondering if I…
Unless your family is really begging for a gaming console I don’t think you need one. Still a used console is $99 at gamestop so the price to entry is really low (https://www.gamestop.com/video-games/xbox-one/consoles).

Whenever you hear/see a general food opinion like this it’s best to just ignore it. It has nothing to do w/ the food or the culture. These people want to stay in their bubble and any venture outside is going to be a bad experience for them.
Here’s some out of the box ideas:
Can you see the package from the street? Obscuring street visibility of the package drop off area w/ bushes, or fencing can help deter porch pirates.
Dummy boxes: a couple large dummy boxes won’t look very good but they’ll be higher priority targets for theft. I assume this would deter…
It’s basically hamburger, macaroni and sauce. Think of Kraft mac and cheese but you add your own meat. It’s cheap, easy to make, and doesn’t use a lot of dishes. Taste-wise I’d put it above Ramen, or frozen dinners, but if you can make sauce, and cook pasta do that instead.
She doesn’t sound smart enough to convince google it’s her account.
As somebody who almost never buys coffee this reminds me of a joke:
Woman: How many beers a day do you buy?
Man: about 3
Woman: And how long have you been drinking?
Man: About 20 years, I suppose.
Woman: So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day, puts you spending $108,000 in the last 20 years! That money could ‘ve…
I vaguely remember having a conversation w/ a brewer where he mentioned they use “decaf” coffee because of state law banning alcohol & caffeine (several areas have “4loko laws” that make it harder to sell caffeinated alcholic drinks). My memory is fuzzy though so I could have misunderstood, or dreamed the whole thing.
When I landed at Reagan a couple years ago. I kept getting the same driver who would call me up, ask me where I was heading, and ask me to cancel the trip. I wasn’t ever charged anything and I assume it was because he didn’t want to drive there, and pulled this stunt multiple times.
I used to get this much more often…
How I feel about nice pieces in private collections:
I’m super suprised at how cheap milk is. Here’s something that needs to be pumped from an animal, filtered, pasturized, tested, bottled, and then shipped cold w/ a freshness window of 2-3 weeks.
Fred Meyer’s -
1. They tend to have lower prices as the nicer grocery stores, and are nicer than the lower priced grocery stores.
2. I like the quality of their store brands... some I even prefer over name brand.
3. Checkout rarely has more than 2 people in line. Typically there’s a lane open for me.
4. Online shopping -…
