It’s not just his political support, it’s the harm that he’s caused the community in his role as secretary of HUD that’s changed his legacy. 

He definitely has wild ass ideas consistent with receiving zero criticism for decades.

I think there is nothing wrong with a school getting its name changed because the person you named it for no longer is worthy of it.

You know what I think?  Names change.  Is he the most deserving of such an honor in any case?  No.  I have no conflict over this.  Hitler was an art student at one time; who the fuck cares?

Carson has proved that a talented brain surgeon is a lot like those teenagers back in the Blackberry days that could text hundreds of words a minute— yeah, that sort of speed and accuracy is definitely a skill, but it doesn’t mean you’re good at anything else.

And this is why people would wait until AFTER they die to have buildings named after them.
