454 and TH400. I’d love to find an M22 Rockcrusher 4 speed, but money does not permit such a thing.

Your father was a badass.

I approve if for no other reason than the Keystones and yellow slapper bars.

Fairly faithful to what guys would do in the 70s. I can list the modern concessions quick:

Just for the love of Christ, PLEASE don’t kill anymore ‘68-’70 Chargers!

For that money, he can hit me with all the American hatred he can muster.

A 1970 Firebird with a 400 and a ‘60 Vette Fuelie are cool at any time, not just for the ‘80s.

“That 40 year old Bronco?”

I’m partial to Fairlanes, since I had one.

Yes. Sounds odd, I know, but it’s apparently true.

They did have them. Only with a 260 V8 (Which barely moved a 3200lb Fairlane in ‘63, (Yes, Ford had one too in the early 60s, I had a ‘63 with one), so I can’t imagine it moving this Olds very well.)

598ci crate engine.

This is an absolutely terrible idea, and completely unsafe.

This is the year I’ll find dad’s old ‘84. (He sold it in 2004). Broncos win 50th superbowl, Ford’s Bronco turns 50!

Poor Z400....

I think you got that backwards. You get a free mailbox with the purchase of a $149,000 hat.

“doesn’t appear to now”

Did somebody piss in your coffee this morning? He asked “Do these kind of cars not even have lap belts?” I gave both possible outcomes. Which is that it didn’t factory, doesn’t appear to now. Especially if California is like Michigan, in other words, a car of that era isn’t required to have seat belts. I neither said
