Volvo and IKEA!

There was a study done recently stating that the average cost of a new car in the US is $31,252. They are simply getting quite expensive.

I'm pretty sure you missed the joke here.

You always see a ton of older Cadillac hearses but I've never seen a Pontiac before. Just because the rarity, I'd say NP.

Just threw this together quickly in school in Powerpoint. Someone could make it much better. I'm just trying to show that we are all car people with different interests and different ideas on cars.

Very nice and cool car but that price is way too high for me.

"We can't sell our cars so we will produce less advertising for them!"

I think the main reason is to make it a bit different from the one next to it. Which I get. That is why two minis rarely look alike whereas Hondas are identical.

That is one of the best lines I have ever heard! I may have to use that!

Same here! My other problem is am a bit financially responsible so I always have a decent amount of money (for a 16 year old) sitting in the account. So, I always find myself buying dumb little things that I didn't need five minutes earlier.

You have a point. You never really know until it is 100% confirmed (and even then, there is still a bit of controversies) I'll buy your theory!

Porsche offering to paint your key the same color as your car for a few hundred dollars. Why? Why the hell would I need it painted? That is just a waste!

My dad got so angry with that dealer we left and went to a different one. He was forcing us to have one on the lot, with extra options and the wrong interior color.

Yup! I had it when I leased my Civic. Yes, I emailed my dealer days before and got quotes. But I still had to go in and talk with him. Took over two hours. I ended up with one that had a few extra add ons like trunk tray and pinstriping (which added over $800 to my MSRP) and made me pay more. I hated that. I should've

Exactly. That is one reason Honda is so successful. They offer three trim levels on most cars with little to no options. It makes buying much easier.

That was the weirdest shit ever on History Channel. Did you actually watch it?

I preferred the black hole theory. This one is much more depressing.

Clever clever. Its BS that Tesla can't.. I'm doing a project in my business class on it and in my journalism class for the school newspaper.

Its that quick? I'm impressed. Do the dealers complain when you want a special order? My dad had that when he tried to get his Passat a few years back. They wouldn't let him order a custom one at all.

This is my biggest problem with MINI. It is nearly impossible to find the EXACT one you want sitting on a dealer lot. They all need to be custom ordered to get it perfect, so a lot of people compromise and miss out on the little things they want.
