I don't know about that claim... todays S60 got the IIHS Safety+; the only one in its class to do so (unless you count the Infiniti which I don't but they do). The A4, C class, 3 series, and countless others failed the small overlap... they still are one of the safest cars on the road

The Volvo inline 5. It is such a cool and iconic engine. One of the few (other than Audi) with 5 cylinders. It also is very smooth and powerful.
