I have seen a lot worse cars for sale for $2K.. it still is driveable, even if it overheats. I would say NP since it is so unique.
Its the damn jughandles that confuse the crap out of anyone not familair with the area.. some are before lights, others are after, other let you go left.
But the cost of the BMW to the cost of the Volvo is a huge difference... the Volvo costs anywhere from $5 to $15000 less.. yet still has the same if not more options...

The only older minivan with AWD was the Chrysler Town and Country... the only new one is the Toyota Sienna. The one thing that prevents me from saying minivan is it looks like it has step bars.. which only go on trucks or SUVs...
Cruise control. I hate feeling like I'm not in control of my car. It is as close to not driving as I ever want to get. I used it once when I got the car in 2007, but never again.
I think the problem here is that the last thing people want to see at an airport on 9/11 is flames and smoke. A lot of people were affected by 9/11 and flying on a day like that isn't easy, so seeing what looks like a plane burning on the runway at a busy airport isn't the most comforting thing.
I love the Element so much.. I am always looking for a reasonably priced used one becuase I would totally drive it.
