Man, I still remember browbeating my parents into driving me to the store so I could spend all my money on Metal Gear for NES. I was so stoked about that game.

There should be room for both of these things in gaming. I absolutely support developers making their games more accessible, that’s great and I’m happy to see it becoming more widespread, but there should also be room for the niche audience Dark Souls stuff in there. Not every game has to be accessible to every person.
If I suddenly no longer had to work a full time job, there would be a distinct possibility that I’d pick up eve again in my newly discovered free time, but as it stands, this game ate my life last time I tried to get into it.
The planet cracker vs. brother moon fight is actually a pretty cool idea. Would have been a great way to bring it back around to the beginning.

I think the current conservative movement in the US is a clusterfuck and I have no problem with Kotaku having a bit of a leftist bent, but I agree that it’s frustrating, and has made me abandon this site as my primary source of gaming news, that they seem to be uninterested in reporting many of the day to day…
“I would prefer to keep the bugs if they’d released a game in scope anywhere near what they marketed.”
Oh, NM, just saw this second image:

Man, I really wish they would give us the ability to stream windows games through an Xbox. I like playing PC games on my TV, but having to hook up a steam box is a hassle. Would be great to have an option to stream using the xbox I already have connected.
I can’t imagine this would be technically difficult, I’d guess…
I mean, I only had a small part in all that, but man that was a fun time.
Worked with all of these guys back at GameSpot. They’re good people, glad this is working out for them.
Celebrate pride by giving rich influencers an extremely rare product for free that they can turn around and sell to make themselves even richer. Corporate progressivism y’all.
I have no horse in this race but this seems kind of unfair.
Make believe weddings are way easier to plan.
Oh my god where do I order this?
Roughly 99% of the people I work with in the actual day to day production of games are absolutely gamers. Guys like these make decisions about business strategy, but the actual production is still done entirely by people who love video games.
Also, you might be surprised how many of those corporate bigwigs are…
Yeah I’ll go as far as “you can make a passable TV show”. The Witcher series isn’t terrible, it’s fun schlock, but it sure ain’t Shakespeare. I think the writing in the second and third games is actually significantly better than the show.
So I’m still not real comfortable giving this website my credit card number. Anyone have thoughts?
