@Joshua Pacada: 'Cuz think about it for a second: GM could have not done it and forced the consumer to pay it ::cough:: Chrysler ::cough:: .

You know what though, I have to hand it to GM.

O fuck. Looks like I know what color I'm ordering my F430 in.

You know what. This is fine for now.

Fair enough. Everyone, including Cadillac Brand engineers knew overpricing an already overpriced mid-size luxury car wasn't going to work. Especially adding another letter to 3-letter name and alluding to performance at or near an M5.

Well, like anything in life - spend a lot of time with something, have it perform your expectations adequately, and you're bound to fall in love with it. Same thing applies to girls, instruments, and genitals.

Yawn ok, so we learned that if we take an expensive, fast car and add more money to it, it gets even more faster and expensive.

@DrElectro: Definitely. Pentastar anyone?

The thing is, what did you expect Nissan to do? The only logical step from the 350Z was the 370Z.

@Fourstring85: I think the point is, either way - this car isn't very pretty.

DAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMM. 1966 4DSC!!!

Wow. $33k is not bad for a car with AWD and a relatively high HP engine. Seriously, I'm looking at this thing, and I'm actually saying to myself - "Did GM finally get something right?". It's a good looking car, well-equipped for the price, and a definite alternative.

I don't get it. What the hell is with the push for Tier 1 luxury status? Does it matter? If I want Tier 1 quality and I'm willing to pay for it, I'm going to go to the source.

I have an idea - it's called 'let's appeal to the youth market by actually building cars they want, instead of poorly executing a brand name tie-in'. I know, it's quite a concept to grab, GM.

I wonder, during the Cold War years - did the Soviets ever have access to all the cars coming out of Detroit at the time?

I have a strange urge to take a 370Z and paint it in 'black gold'.

DAAAAAAAAAMMMNNNNNNNNNNNN EASTERN BLOC PERFORMANCE!
