It’s not a “plot” (singular) at all. That’s my point. OT was always marketed about being eight different stories following eight different characters.

Loved the demo; waiting on my LE from Europe.
The fact that they said this will tie together the worlds of XC and XC2 has me pretty excited. Loved the connection that was introduced in XC2, so I’m excited to see how everything is tied up in this.
Of course Willow Tea is a hit. Given how much players likely had to suffer to get it, it only makes sense that folks would use it. Hell, the entire reason that I refuse to move on from the Mark VII core is because it’s the only one that has the Willow Tea color scheme, and I’ll be damned if I went through all of that…
This is why I found it so ridiculous that everyone was complaining about the slow progression in the Battle Pass a few months ago. It was as if a bunch of Fortnite kids complete ignored how long Halo’s seasons were or how many levels there were, and just expected Halo Infinite’s BP to work just like Fortnite’s.
First: 343 makes Halo, not Gears. The Coalition makes Gears.
“This will not benefit consumers.”
Yes, MS wants GamePass to be the Netflix of videogames going forward. Amazon and Google also tried (are trying? are they still trying?) to wade into these waters. Sony likely couldn’t pull it off and, quite frankly, I have no idea what their future looks like once a sizeable chunk of the AAA games are sitting on…
“The thing around this whole acquisition though that still strikes me is that Microsoft have spent the last, what, four years now just buying up everything under the sun and what exactly do they have to show for it?”
Not sure that Sony CAN come up with a better answer to GP at this point.
And now Halo Continuum (obviously the name for the next Halo game) will open with, “Man, Atriox and the Endless sure were hard to take out, right? Uh-oh, a new threat is here, prepare for The Bad!”
Brian Reed was the writer for Halo 5. Reed’s grand vision (apparently) was to kick everything setup in Halo 4 to the curb (he is the one who killed Didact’s physical form off in the comic books) and then completely marry the literature and the mainline games and then go down the “Cortana is evil and now has the…
Just want to say that it seemed apparent to me that the Endless are not the Flood nor are they an Overmind. The Endless are a race the survived the first firing of the rings, and the Forerunners didn’t like that, so they imprisoned them on Zeta Halo.
Playing a game a day for 10 days is a major time commitment?
Prometheans, which are pretty much digitized Forerunners inside of mechanical bodies.
I think the high points would be:
Master Chief was found and Cortana seemed to sacrifice herself to save the universe from a Forerunner guy who was bad (Halo 4).
*puts on Halo nerd glasses*
Yeah... I suffered too much to not be Willow Tea for... awhile. Really sucks that I can only apply the color scheme to the base armor. You would think, if anything, it would’ve applied to the samurai armor, since you had to knock out a bunch of those event challenges to even get it (and even it required playing Fiesta…
I’m kind of OK with the K/D ratio not being shown anywhere, since playing to the objective in some games (CTF, Oddball, Stockpile) can sometimes lead to a poor K/D ratio (you’re more likely to be killed carrying a flag/skull/energy core or whatever, so if you’re trying to do those things (or, worst case scenario, the o…
Clearly, I can, and clearly, this concept isn’t limited to me, since, as I pointed out previously, even Nintendo Life took measures to avoid that spoiler in their version of this article.
