unfortunately it’s the easiest metric to show off to the non gaming public (usually shareholders). trying to make better gameplay or physics can’t really be sold to them because it can’t be represented in an individual image or few seconds of a sizzle reel.

Cool that you have them under 24/7 surveillance, knowing every step and move they make.  Not weird at all.

Anything is a liquid if you’re strong enough.

My girlfriend and I wanted to play this, but we’re on the fence about getting Japanese citizens pregnant. We have a lot on our plate already.

The most impressive thing is his ability to deal with the monotony of fighting the same enemy over and over and over and over.

Seriously, fuck Florida and fuck “Stand Your Ground”. It’s legalized murder, over and over again.

Assholes, from top to bottom.

A microcosm of a bigger problem in the scene. I love OW, but I can’t tell you how many times I have heard someone drop slurs or belittle women in voice chat....to be honest this is a problem of the gaming community as a whole

As always, here to shill my favourite game of all time for this list: Chrono Trigger

Yeah I think this is rad. Makes me want a Smash Brothers type game of action figures across various media/IP or ever rip-offs. Like you said, reminds me of the brawls I used to do with my action figures 30 years ago.

I want Wrestling Buddies skins, I basically had them all as a kid and practiced German Suplexes over and over

I honestly love this. Is it creepy? Yes of course it is. Would I have loved this as a kid who used to play with wrestling toys just like that one? Absolutely.

If the recipe calls for Campbell’s Cream of Chicken soup, I’m out.

I simply google and review 3-4 different recipes and look for commonalities; for baking, it sometimes comes down to amount of baking soda, or powder, using both or just one. Amount of eggs and/or yolks can differ as well.

Or don’t bother if the person presenting it thinks we all want to know the detailed history of the recipe, their opinion and childhood experience with it, their memories of their grandma, etc., all while scrolling past a dozen ads before getting to the actual recipe.

If it’s on Tiktok, it’s bad.

The settlement estimates that everyone who applies will receive at least $10 for one TV.”

Dear god Sweeney can’t anymore talk about anything without mentioning the 30% fee. He does have a point about it being way to high but he seems so obsessed with it you would think the fee bullied him in High school or that he sees himself as a Jobs/Musk type of messianic inventor.

This post leaves the important bits out. From a Dodge press release:

If only we could take fees from people who benefit from capitalism (the rich) and put it in a fund to benefit those who need help with their education (people who take out student loans) and use that fund to help them…if only there were a word for that (taxes).
