I understand people who don't love Moffat, but I really love his arcs. Maybe season 7 got a bit out of hand.

Honestly I'd take either of them next year. Though they are pretty new to doctor who and chibnall has a successful show under his belt.

Moffat is nailing the pre/post-episode Nardole/Doctor Banter. It's good to give the Doctor someone to play off in those scenes instead of the usual, 'he looks concernedly at a screen or companion' that we got a bunch with Amy and Clara.

Does anyone else shudder when Trump uses the word 'lovely' to describe any woman?

The Flash suffers from the dual problem that they are all speedsters, who literally change how good they are at stuff from scene to scene to make the plot work. Barry Allen should never get hit by a punch ever. To turn corners and dodge things when he runs, his reaction times should be so good that no matter have

It is twenty-serpentine

I was really dreading the 'trick Blaine into slipping up scene' but then she does it so fucking well I didn't realise it was even happening. Hopefully Peyton will start to get some cool stuff to do, maybe if people start committing crimes against zombies and she has a professional reason to be more involved in the

This show is so good whenever they tone down Tandy. It's sad that his
character is just so infuriating, because when they just make him even a
little less annoying, he stops getting in the way of a great cast (including Forte).

It's River Song again! He gets us with the "she's not coming back" every time!

Moffat has always liked to revive everyone at the end though. Empty Child, everyone is fixed. Silence in the Library, everyone lives in digital world. etc.

So like Donna, basically. I think we've established that this is the best kind of companion. (I liked all the others though personally, but I still prefer Bill and Donna types)

I think Moffat said somewhere that he doesn't plan to draw out the "Who's in the vault for too long." Which is good growth from Moffat if nothing else.

But, like, they'll remember doing it

"If Killer Frost goes on a murderous rampage, that’s a bell that can’t
really be unrung in terms of turning her back into Caitlin, member in
good standing of Team Flash."

Andre Braugher should be able to just submit "Each sentence so rife with information. Go on, please.” and get an Emmy.

I was pretty invested in the whole Clara/Maggie thing until it became about "Who loves Alex more" instead of Maggie having legitimate issues with how vigilante justice works. Given how every superhero show has their own take on that, I was impressed by Supergirl having an interesting version of that storyline. Shame

Why the google search engine is incapable of searching YouTube when they own it will always be completely beyond me. Just one of the mysteries of Larry Page.

It's possibly entirely on youtube. Most of her episodes are and I know that a large amount of this special is too.

It's also always great when the Who team moves away from their usual White Man demographic for writers. It doesn't seem that Doctor Who is a sexist or toxic place, but we should always say 'Yay for diversity'!

At this point Doctor Who (both the show and the character) has better established and more consistent rules about Time Travel. And the writers of that show literally don't give a fuck about time travel rules.
