What is funny to me, as a Republican, is how despised Trump is by the Democrats, yet he espouses almost identical positions held by Obama, Clinton and Harry Reid on hot button topics like the Middle East, Immigration and now this Birthright Citizenship issue...as if they can’t look themselves in a mirror.

I just want to clarify that this idea is not Trump’s. This is a political discussion that has been around for ages and was actually a very popular talking point for democrat Harry Reid years ago. Many other countries do not accept the idea of “jus soli” and Dems should love this “globalist” idea.

What people don’t understand is that this is Republican Trump taking Democrat ideas and trying to implement them to appeal to his Republican base. This idea was propagated by Harry Reid years ago.

As a business man, Dan Gilbert is obviously thinking...you know, I paid this guy really, really well to be an assistant.  Now, I will pay him poorly as an interim.  It’s really a wash...if it’s for a short time.  I can’t argue with Gilbert on this.

Ughh...my least favorite team/dynasty of all-time.  The LeBron era / GSW era can’t end soon enough for me.  Overall though, the NBA is down.  Way too many “young” teams with no real complete players.  Poor product.  Not sure it can be fixed, just really ugly.

I disagree. One can have a global view, which implies wanting the world to be better, but “globalists” are one world government, open border enthusiasts. Nationalists are really those that are concerned about the nation. I see no issue with what Trump has said in that way.

I do think it’s a shame how blatantly biased the media has become.  I think journalists of the past would be horrified.  I think we have to remember that the media is private industry out to make money and to do that, truth doesn’t really matter.  What matters is headlines and finger pointing.  Own it, and change it.

I think a lot of people are too caught up in social media, have lost perspective and just need to go outside for awhile. Look, go meet some people, introduce yourself and make some friends that may be different from you. Heart issues can be fixed when your heart has a chance to grow.

We aren’t really fighting a war.  We are a people that have two main worldviews.  In the past, we compromised and won the day with ideas.  Today, we vilify the other side.  That is wrong.
