I'm with you. I have absolutely NOTHING on my home screen, save the status bar at the top. Swipe up on the screen for the app drawer, swipe down the screen for the dialer. Lean and clean.

Don't use more than your data plan, it's really that simple. The people getting caught are rooting their phones, installing the tether then treating it like cable or DSL connection.
