This is the worst take in all the comments, made by someone who has zero understanding of racing.

Merc’s problem was that Bottas wasn’t even in the same area code as Ham and Max. If Bottas was within 13-15 seconds of Max then he couldn’t have gotten a “free” pitstop.

Allowed to advance past 5 cars that Lewis had to work to pass.
Allowed to have fresh tires when Lewis did not.

So, what do you call that? Putting Max, with fresh tires, directly behind Lewis on old tires.

I don’t think people wanted it to end under yellow. But why the hell did Masi take forever to decide to let lapped cars pass? If he had decided that earlier, people would have had less qualms with it.

The Raptor was brake-checking and sped up to block the Accord; that behavior could have easily killed somebody, and not just the asshole in the Accord.

The trick is to be super subtle about it, my guess is the raptor was doing something similar.

It’s just simply not worth it. We see how it ended in this instance, and we’ve now seen multiple instances of people pulling guns. It’s just not worth it. It’s to the point where if I see two people aggressively driving and clearly antagonizing one another, I get as far away as I can for fear of gunfire erupting.
