Well it's a very nice gesture of everyone, and I really do feel bad for this guy. But I don't know that merely driving a vehicle is going to save him from a bunch of scared cops with itchy trigger fingers. Chris Dorner taught us that when the police are terrified, no one is safe.

so go rag on Honda/Toyota. They have a shit-ton of recalls for airbags compared to GM. And Honda is being investigated for knowing about the problem and actively covering it up.

Jalopnik has posted about the Takata articles before... But it's not near to the scale that GM's recalls are. GM recalls over a TPMS? Jalopnik has an article about it. Honda recalls 5 million cars? Jalopnik posts on article weeks ago. I usually don't like taking this angle either. GM headlines are mostly entirely

This article comes off a little weird to me, since Toyota is making the exact same recommendation for the same issue and these are Toyota designed and built ... but yeah, definitely not Toyota, it's just GM. Scary problem though, having a claymore mine where you thought you had an airbag.

That's how I see this. I haven't heard anything about Honda doing this sort of emergency notice, even though they've had 5 million vehicles recalled for the airbags.

Here we go, just as I expected:

Yeah, I didn't want to jump on the 'jalopnik picking on GM' angle, but I thought about it. I mean, this is a huge recall across a ton of manufacturers, and from what I heard on the news this morning it sounded like Honda was actually the one with the most airbags to recall.

Naturally. GM is taking action to make sure nobody gets injured. And of course there's a Jalopnik article singling GM out. That's how this game works.

My guess is that the LaFerrari's all-electric range must be so low that they felt it's better to classify it as non-existent and keep saying nonono to anybody who asks about it. After all, they are Ferrari.

yeah, you know it never occurred to me until just now, but all these electric cars nowadays would have made it so much easier in my youth to, uhhh, borrow my parents' car after midnight ... Fond memories of sneaking away with the clutch in and the car off. Long live the manuals!!

I'm not being sarcastical when I say, no one gives a fuck.

They fly on the wrong side of the sky in the UK. Maybe this caused some confusion?

The fact that you're unconscious and unable to be aroused is of more concern than your pupils. You being unconscious after a head injury would be classified as serious before anyone ever saw your pupils.

GCS does not take in to account the reaction of the pupil. The eyes literally play no role, essentially just the eye lid. Open your eyes on your own, you get 4. Open your eyes only when someone speaks, 3. Open your eyes only when someone applies a painful stimuli, you get a 2. If someone applied pain and your eyes
