I hate Sublime with a fiery passion, but I admit that it seemed their fandom spanned just about every base there was, for the better part of a decade (much to my disappointment at the time — I couldn't get away from those fucking songs).

It's Octoberfest season, my friend. Broaden your horizons!
YES. I said the same thing… This guy is a copy/paste hack. No original thoughts of his own.
"The Bro in me is such a Bro in yooooouuuuu…."
You would think this guy is funny… I mean, he's awkward looking/sounding, fat, a big music/film nerd (apparently). But he doesn't seem to have an original bone in his body.
While I dislike like the king-hipster terms he peppers his comments with (Edgy, yet entirely bland, fat, nerdy, and frumpy Brian Posehn attacks chain restaurants like Applebees! Also dislikes SoCal Bros! News at 11!), I agree with the take itself.
I hear ya, that's certainly how it seems on the surface. I was just speculating possible"twists"… which, admittedly, is silly to do.
Like many others, I love getting lost in the cinematography and atmosphere of this show.. but the plot was strung along much too far this season. Not enough progression, by far.
I was a big Feldman fan growing up (born in 1980) -The Goonies, Friday the 13th, Stand By Me, Lost Boys, TMNT… He played my favorite character in each of them. Hell, he even had a small, but memorable role in Gremlins.
Gotchya… maybe if I revisit the book down the road, I'll check out that version.
I happen to know some French, so I'm lucky there. There's also a great wiki page with a list of just the French terms/translations in order as they appear in the book.
Agreed there… That haunted house story in the middle was probably my favorite chapter. That needed to be a Vincent Price movie!
Just finished The Martian Chronicles by Bradbury, and started (finally) Lolita by Nabokov.
My father's favorite movie… I remember him sitting me down to watch it as a youngster (roughly 7 yrs old), and I was thinking there was no way I'd like this old black and white movie. But hot damn if I didn't get sucked right in.
I wanted to shake Angela when she didn't check the girl's scars… I knew that 'makeup' line was coming. Score one for ol' Lucky… lord knows I miss a million clues per season.
Not sure if sarcastic… but I believe he meant that the show is BECOMING less like PKD, not that he personally prefers AHS.
Been saying this for years! Thought I was going crazy because nobody seemed to agree that heartily with me.
Cynical response:
I asked you for one thing! Dogs with frickin' lasers attached to their heads!
I love reserved seating too… until you get that jackload that picks his seats right next to you in a wide open theater.
