This despicable behavior really shouldn’t surprise anyone. One of things I finally understood about these people a few years ago is that NOTHING — not “family values,” not capitalism, not Jesus — is more important that ending the rights of women to have abortions.

I had a mom and dad come in to my office just a few months ago (I’m a primary care doctor) asking me to do a pelvic exam on their sixteen-year-old daughter to see if she was still a virgin. The daughter was standing there mortified, crying and shaking as she argued with them not to make her do it.

Heartily agree. I’m sure as hell complicated and damaged too, but if that’s what turns someone on, I’m turning around and walking away as fast as I can.
