I SUCH a huge fan of Cheyenne Cher and Vicki Victory when I was a twelve-year-old girl. I loved watching GLOW. Miss that show and its very unique attitude.

This couldn’t be more accurate. Absolutely spot-on.
I don’t think it’s them forgetting as much as it is Deny, Deny, Deny. Thinking about sex is Dirty and Sinful, so OF COURSE they’re NEVER done it.
One of my daughters sleepwalks at times and will do stuff like this. Scared us to death one morning when we woke up and she was gone. We searched the house for her and couldn’t find her. When we went out to drive around the neighborhood to look for her, we found her asleep in the backseat of the car, perfectly fine.
And it’s not just women in sports. One the staff of the television show The 100, Layne Morgan, just announced she was leaving the show. She’s been getting some brutal, horrible tweets like these here for months, mostly from supposed fans of one character on the show who think she isn’t making this character central…
As a woman from Tennessee, I can assure all of you that Marsha Blackburn makes Michelle Bachmann look logical and intelligent. And you should be frightened by that fact.
Lexa’s death was not required. Immediately assuming, “Oh, this actor isn’t going to be available for part of the season, so we HAVE to kill her/his character off!” is part of the problem. Soap operas have been coming with ways to remove characters for a period of time, both killing them and not killing them, for…
It says something that the BEST POSSIBLE SCENARIO here for JR is that he was entirely clueless and ignorant. I’m not sure I can give him and the rest of the writers that much credit.
Yes. YES YES YES.
But there WERE still several quite tenable ways to keep Lexa alive but have her no longer be Heda. They just didn’t bother even trying any of them. They just killed her off, stray bullet and all, out of either laziness or lack of concern.
I do find myself contemplating whether the showrunners have something specific in mind for Trixie; more specifically, if she’s meant to fill the role of Elaine from the comic series. Elaine was a bit older, but there are juuust enough similarities to make me wonder.
That scene in the school by itself earned my loyalty for the entire first season.
Specifically, East Tennessee was so pro-Union that they had finalized plans to split from Middle and West Tennessee to form an entirely new state named Franklin. Only a last-minute effort in the state legislature prevented the state from splitting; as a result of the pro-Union sympathies, most of East Tennessee was…
As Rob has already pointed out, Kelly Clarkson has a personal history with Dr. Luke. He was a major reason she was miserable at Sony and wanted out of her contract. I never heard about any sexual harassment, but it’s hard not to think that was at least part of why she was so tormented while with that label.
Flashpoint/New 52 was a hot mess, and nobody at DC (Didiot) wants to take credit for how badly it screwed things up. I can only hope this newest universe reset is more like Countdown and 52.
Apparently it’s ALL of their business model.
You don’t have to grow up in China to know who the heroes of the Three Kingdoms era were. Just play lots of Dynasty Warriors videogames.
Just tried to purchase a hardback Shadowrun 5th Ed book, and the promo code would NOT work, so the code isn’t applying to ALL physical books. Amazon never gave me a reason why the discount couldn’t be applied, despite me trying to find it. The discount is also limited to a single book, so remember that too.

Absolutely right. Anyone who isn’t rich and/or famous would have been breathalyzered and arrested for DUI, reckless driving and assault. I’m also pretty sure that Manziel and his girlfriend would have been held in custody long enough to actually interview the person WHO CALLED THE POLICE ON THEM before being released.
I coached AYSO and Parks & Rec soccer for several years. One spring when I was coaching U8 (six- and seven-year-olds) girls, we had a problem with a parent repeatedly yelling ugly things at her own daughter. So I told the parents of both teams that we were going to play the rest of that game with parents not allowed…
