@takeshi: I used Google before making my comment. If somebody takes the time to write out a blog post about an app, the least they can do is explain a little about what the app does.
@Robotronic: They did that to my wife's bank too. But it was in a bad neighborhood too, so it was probably a security thing. Both my wife and I have our checks direct deposited though, so we don't usually have to physically go there.
@Sprzout: If somebody links crap on your page about a game, click the X on the top right of that post. It should give you the option to not let that application post to your wall. Just do this for any games you don't care about (in your case, all games) and you should be able to rid your wall from all that spam.
@verspasian: Good point. I forgot about those. Hopefully they picked the one that John Milton runs, they'll surely win them all.
@smirkette: Perhaps. I'd have been happy with "WolframAlpha is a computational knowledge engine."
Does it bother anybody else when they make posts like this, where they don't actually tell you what the app is? Sure, I could Google it or follow your link to its iPhone equivalent app, but I shouldn't have to do any of that.

@JstSqzd: I still thought it said lego halfway through the movie (I didn't have the sound on). Then I was relieved when I saw that I was mistaken.
For those of you who loved marble madness and have a Wii or a psp, mercury meltdown is really good. I'd suggest it on the wii though, since you can tilt the controller to control it. It's not nearly as fun on the PSP. You control a piece of mercury (duh?) instead of a marble, but that makes the game more…
@2 replies: That's all good and well, but what about my 89th wedding anniversary? :(
@FriarNurgle: They should have spent that money on making their current service not suck. I use AIM to chat with a few buddies of mine, so I have it running all day long. Their service goes offline practically once an hour, it's a complete joke. It works fine when it's working, but it's about as stable as a…
@myxylplyx: I didn't put a link in my post because there is a link at the bottom of the article.
@ProsumeThis: If you navigate to the New Yorker website first, the video loads fine on their page.
Oh man! That looks badass! I wish there was a video of it in action. I used to love that game, and would love to see his contraption in action.
