I had an Uncle Ray once, well I guess I still do. Anyway, he liked to drink and spout his mouth at anyone in earshot. Well, one night—and Uncle Ray is straight twisted, right—one night, he's in Atlantic City with his girl, and she's going on and on about how he doesn't know shit about Hold 'Em. Well you know what

He didn't mince words.

What do I get if I told you I did?

You know, both explanations are possible. I had an "incomplete wipe" this morning, and I've been haunted by it all day.

The current automatic sign-in requires you to be in front of the Kinect, but sometimes it can be slow or in rare cases not work at all. I do use the Kinect but I would prefer to sign-in without having to be in front of my X1. When I turn on my X1 I'm usually not sitting down immediately, often times I'm doing

In fairness, for some of us it's not really feasible to use Kinect. Sad, but true.

I understand perfectly where you're coming from about the trolling, I just don't see it coming in to play in this instance.

Your experience is not necessarily indicative of his. No need to be combatative about it.

Agreed. MS has been on the ball with this. Let's not forget just how far the 360 came during its life cycle. MS was able to change it dramatically and add a ton of new features via software well after it had been in people's houses. I expect the same for the One.

I think MS is doing good by releasing these frequent updates. At least they are trying to give us all more options which will then lead to Sony also giving us more options and in the end we will all win.

A very handy update indeed, I remember some dude tried to argue with me about this a week or so ago.

It very clearly says you can set it so only certain friends, all friends, or no one at all can see your real name. It's all up to you.

People are misinterpreting this. Human eye can see the difference above 24fps. BUT, we use 24 FPS for two reason.

That's because the stuff in this post are still only on the CTE and not the live servers.

I'm smoking weed with my buddy in my Z32 (Keep in mind, this is Canada I live in, where Marijuana laws are quite lax). T-Tops open. Late night. We're at the top of a cliff overlooking Ottawa... Just a gorgeous setup. We have some Miles Davis Quintet playing on the radio, and we're just passing the J back and forth,

Chunky uses path tracing for its rendering. Basically, the renderer calculates different rays that go from the camera into the scene and calculates the path of the ray as it bounces around the scene. It makes for a very powerful system when dealing with complex lighting that reflects multiple times. The problem is the

Well, that IS quite a lot of blocks, and thus a lot of textured polygons to render.
