Microsoft is getting a lot of flack about it because of the whole "cursing in Skype" shebang, but honestly, I agree with you here: I like the addition to the games, because it means developers are getting creative and using resources in new and less-than-expected fashions.

Its Shelby Welinder. I'd originally bought into the rumor that the image was modeled after Kate Upton, but after some diligent Googling, stumbled upon this article. http://www.dailydot.com/gaming/gtav-gr…

I'm pretty sure those options are still around, it'd be silly to remove them, since they're integral to the simulation experience :)

OK, I wasn't sure if it was just a strong recommendation or actually disallowing. Thanks for clearing it up.

They did it to me as well.

One would hope. I feel like my initial comment came across negatively, but I am actually all for this feature. I just don't know if they'd take the time to implement it.

I dunno. If Steam Machines really take off, there's literally no reason to make consoles anymore. The biggest reason would be because of things like the XB1, where its a hug for all your other media stuff, but that's easily replicated by a PC as well. Then the only thing left is exclusives, but how willing would a

Is it direct access, or more of a "search and show results?" Genuinely asking, I obviously don't have the system or know about those inner workings yet.

The cuts to the car list (and track list) are because they had to re-scan everything, because (likely due to model/polygon constraints) last-gen models aren't up to snuff for a next-gen game.

This is standard practice...

Making minute adjustments to a thumbstick and having them represent gradual changes, and then doing this multiple times in a short span, doesn't translate well. Forza 5, like its predecessors, has different levels of "input guidance," I'll call it, from easy, hold-your-hand stuff to full-on simulation which I'm not

But Netflix would then have to allow for launching a show/movie from outside the app, which, given we don't know how their app is architectured, we can't say whether it would be trivial or impossible.

I'm not 100% sure we're gonna see more consoles in 8-10 years.

Pretty awesome list, and I agree for the most part, at least for the ones I've seen.

I've got Dead Rising 3 pinned, sure, but I also pinned the movie The World's End, because I want to rent it but haven't had time. Clicking the movie's pin will take me to the Xbox Video store page, where I can opt to rent it when I'm finally ready to watch. I do wish I could pin individual Netflix movies or series,

Copnado!

Right, sorry, what I wrote was meant just for the XB1's architecture. PS4's is fluid, and I think that'll work out better for games, but at the same time, the PS4 doesn't have the same kind of app support the XB1 has, so there's less need to dedicate that much RAM for apps.

Siriusly?

You asked if the XB1 has a dedicated CPU/RAM for multimedia (I assumed apps). I said it has 3GB dedicated, and up to 10% of GPU and up to 2 cores of CPU resource in reserve. How is that not clear?
