I think it may be too big of a step from what people are used to. Hell, people are still hemming and hawwing over 3D on a TV or monitor. VR headsets, while not new, are still a major leap from what gamers are used to using, so I'd imagine eyetracking would be a solid 2.0 feature.

So, isn't that technically double-charging, and somehow, somewhere, illegal?

Like the stock market, it depends on when you cash out

Shit, are we about to Kinja-ize Community?

Yes. Yes we do.

Troy fits my style better, if I had to choose.

I like the cut of your jib

Is it a penis? I bet its a penis...

I concur.

Ah right, we'll have to wait and see on that.

Uhh...no? It'll be $60 for a yearly thing as it is now. There's been no rumors to subscription changes.

Neat, thanks. So at roughly 5 times the cost of a traditional 4K camera, I wonder if the effects of the super-high FPS would be worthwhile...

No wonder it will start at $109,900, with options pushing it as high as $164,900.

This was fucking fantastic, best thing I've read all year. Please do this more often for other movies.

Uh, no, we actually don't. Making firearms completely illegal is the surest way to make this problem as bad as possible.

Jets flying close overhead, tanks crossing commuter streets, meteors exploding...

This is tame by comparison

Oh wow, I didn't realize it was that long of a delay for the season to be released on Amazon. That is pretty terrible.

The somewhat redeeming thing is that the shows do eventually become available, but its usually after the season has completed. You can typically find them online at Amazon, iTunes, etc.

Its HBO, they control when and where their content gets released. They are the content creators and distributors, in this instance. I would agree with your statement for other content, but when you are the distributor of your own content, you have absolute control of when, where, and how the content becomes available.

Sure, that's "correct" and legal and all. But its also, at least in my view, a terrible scheme that's going to fall within a decade.
