Weird, it says its going away November 2013...

Yeah, there'd be stuff to work out, like setting a max amount/percentage that you can put into a single area (to try and help normalize it), but basically, those who pay more would get a bigger say. Which, when you think about it, fully fits a capitalist society...

Sigh. Nevermind, I'm an idiot. Gear -> Classic Home.

In slightly unrelated news, every time I put in [google.com] in my bar, it takes me to the igoogle "home page" instead of the search page. Any way to avoid that?

Doesn't help that he's wearing what appears to be a parachute as a poncho...

Can we expand that to general government initiatives? Where we can choose where we want our tax dollars to be spent?

Regarding the "why aren't Parish's people using it all the time," I'm guessing that its inherently unsafe after a certain point, where Alphas get overloaded. They used it on the fire guy (is that Scipio? I get names confused) to knock him out briefly so they could escape, and damn the consequences. But if you'll

That's because a typical "slushbox" driver goes P -> R -> D -> P (assuming backing out of a driveway/parking spot), not caring what that silly N or the extra stuff afterwards is. To the average driver, you're in a single "gear" for 99% of your trip.

Its a damn shame that manual transmissions are declining.

In order for her to be able to even get out of her driveway, she'd have to know how to use the clutch, if she were driving a manual...

Wait a second, everyone knows the world is round, some old sciency guy said so...
