I loved this, thanks for sharing it. She was amazing. She IS amazing. She is so intelligent, so poised, so strong. The fact that she has survived all of the people trying to tear her down over the last 4+ decades and is now our first female presidential nominee is incredible. She has hung in there when most people

Are we allowed to be excited yet? I have a two year old daughter and this is just such a huge thing for her generation. She gets to grow up knowing you don’t have to be a white male to be president.

A big thank you to the investigators who had to sort through the “evidence” to get this monster locked up.

But but but the second is delightful! Delightful!

Listening to Carly Fiorina, tonight, I found myself pondering Donald Trump’s possible VP choice.

I think everyone projects their middle-class, marital mores on them, and are imagining drama, when the reality is, we have no idea how their marriage operates. We know that they are hugely successful artists who have left conventional lives and conventional expectations far behind them.

This dude is a real jackass. Like the Coast Guard isn’t busy enough dealing with patrolling borders, rescuing kayakers and boaters, and dealing with drug smuggling, they have to deal with this moron. I miss living in that area, but I do NOT miss having to listen to my poor L.E. Coastie deal with these people.

Right? I mean with this anonymous source snippily saying “she spends a lot of money,” like Kelly is out buying a private jet or her own island or $40,000 worth of shoes. She’s buying Manhattan/LI real estate — rock-solid investments and ones in which her family can live. She’s spending wisely. And she’s got product

That outfit + haircut + color + tan just screams old Republican lady in Newport Beach or La Jolla. Which, given Tay-Tay’s haute-bourgeois origins, probably is what she would have ended up as were she not somewhat skilled at stringing together a melody (and hadn’t been marketable as hell in mid-aughts Nashville).

I 100% don’t get the snark. Life can be lonely AF and not all of us like being glued to our Laptops commenting on Jezebel all day eating cheese and intermitenly checking out cats on Neko Atsume. Community living is great but hard to carry out in cities, as long as the price is reasonable this is a fab alternative

I dunno i get it tho

If they suffered for many decades, or if we provided real rehabilitation in prisons, that would be good. However, prison sentences for domestic abusers are frequently shockingly short. His death means he won't be able to abuse anyone ever again.

Someone commented on another post:

If he didn’t have a gun, he’d have stabbed her or beat her to death, run her down with a car, etc. I’m the biggest advocate for gun control there is, but this is a domestic violence and control issue, not a gun issue.
