As a Royals fan, that described every year of my life until last. I honestly was not anticipating just how anxiety ridden a playoff run would leave me!

Free jazz loses me, discordant or difficult listening can still be gripping, in my opinion, but, yeah, without some structure it seems like more fun to play than listen to. I'll check that label out, thanks for the heads up, Nich!
Late period Coltrane, for me. I feel like I'm picking my way through the music along with those snaking, insistent lines. Sober the "skronks!" just annoy the bejesus out of me.
That would have been dope, Human Metronome is right on for that guy, he's fucking amazing!
Got to go on tour with these nutjubs for a few months in '04 and goddam was it fun!
No kidding. Whew, that would not fly now!
They're good, but I'm listening to the new Pyramids album right now, so…..nope.
In an interview one of them said that in action movies they grew up on the Viet Cong were always the bad guys and also total badasses.
What's funny to me is the Dewshine name. Mountain Dew was, with White Lightning, the most famous moonshine in Appalachia. George Jones, Ray Price, etc. all sang about it a 60-70 years ago.
RIP Ra7x!!! That is my true remorse today.
Reese's Pieces. Drinking red wine, alternating between book and AV Club, listening to the rain and my dog sleeping.
Congrats!!!!
"Henderson the Rain King" by Bellow. It's weird, fantastical, but grounded in real life and the final scene is just breathtakingly sad/beautiful.
That sounds really cool, I love that type of literature when it's well done.
Money, pwease!!!
I saw them live and they were great. They're as real as most metal bands, truthfully.
File-o Pile-o!!
What was that?
It must be a touring musician because I'm pretty sure it's not Brendon Small, and it's not Hoglan.
You know that the three noncartoon bands are very successful, right? And the other is made up of incredibly well paid studio musicians, as well.
