That reminds me of a time I was in Dublin, and saw a man writing a long poem on the street with a crayon. I read the whole thing out loud, and added a Bow wow wow yippie yo yippie yay at the end. A beautiful girl laughed.

Well, you've got something to look forward to then. Personally, I like Solaris the least of his seventies output, but seeing as I'd put the other two among the best films I've ever seen in my life (even with the horrible subtitles), that criticism doesn't really amount to much.

The rest of Tarkovsky's output, certainly. I've seen the Kino dvd's of Stalker and The Mirror and the subtitles are like something out of Stalingrad. Awful.
