My favorite response from a man when telling him I had HPV was, “Oh, I’m negative for that.”

“Women’s healthcare has never been better!”

Apparently it can lie dormant for decades, which is scary. And since most doctors don’t test for it unless you have an abnormal pap or specifically ask, most women don’t even know they have it.

Are Americans that stupid that they don’t understand the difference between earned and inherited wealth? My repeated arguments with Trump supporters regarding his “business” acumen suggests: yes, they are.

<putting on my professional hat>

Well, interestingly, I just tested positive last week. My husband and I have been together (and monogamous) for 11 years so needless to say I was a little shocked. I’ve never had an abnormal pap, but am currently pregnant and my new doctor screens for HPV as part of the standard blood workup. She told me it’s not as

Good Post!

When I informed my SO the first words out of his mouth were “What’s HPV?”.  Ah, to be a dude and blissfully ignorant of the diseases passed along.

I remember there being a case in the 90s of a woman whose cervical cancer killed her and wasn’t detected until really late. This was despite her having really bad bleeding and yet multiple Pap smears coming back normal due to overwork/error by one particular slide reader/technician. The reader/technician was a woman

This is so sad for those women. I’m sure this happens more than we realize- scans don’t detect everything. But to think that there was a mistake in reading the scan and it was caused by human error- how horrible.

Why doesn’t the whole fucking world (especially the U.S.) just admit that women’s lives just don’t mean shit. I am so tired of this “women’s healthcare has never been better” bullshit. Even if you have a dire disease shared by males, you might as well start planning for “the end” because males will always get the

Von Loor also accused Robey of owning a set of “assault knives”—which he described as “fantasy knives” in open court.

He looks like a Dollar Store Kevin Pollak.

Each season isn’t a year. Season 5 was over the course of like 1 or two days.

STOP

why does her response matter, though? why are we holding her accountable and pressing her on the actions of a shitty man?

“I would not do it again, the judge told me not to.”

This. Is. Awesome.

I’m in a relationship with someone who is 4 years younger than me (he’s 29, I’m 33), and when we first started dating, we definitely had many a difficult conversation re: race (he’s white, I’m Latinx) and stuff related to #MeToo before #MeToo was a movement. Even those who profess wokeness tend not to fully understand

Sleeping on a towel seems like more trouble than sleeping in undies. It’s just going to roll up, bunch under your hip, and end up grooving deep marks into your thighs and butt so you look like you spent the night snoozing on a Shelob web.
