Her mother, Ann, was a real American hero. Cecile does her mama proud, and then some. Sometimes, people write off Texas as a hopelessly right-wing state but let’s remember that Cecile and Ann Richards are Texans to the bone, and this state can be blue again. Get out that vote.
She is one of my heroes. I got to see her speak in Milwaukee just about a year ago, and I’ll admit, I cried. She’s just got this invincibility about her.
I am so, so proud of my Senator. Tammy Duckworth is awesome, and she’s been putting in the work for a while here in Chicago. I know she’s not as well known as Senators Gillibrand or Harris, but she would be a fantastic addition to the 2020 election ticket.

I agree. She’s been doing great work and started her career as a union organizer for hotel workers, and other service employees that are typically WoC.
