Agreed. What makes something stylish is how you wear it, not what it is.

My dad died on March 16. Someday’s are fine, others, like today, I haven’t left my pajamas and I haven’t showered since wednesday. I need to wash my bedspread and some clothes, but even going to the laundromat seems to be too much.

Good luck!

I felt like that before I started grad school, because I was living in my rural, conservative New Jersey hometown that made the place I lived in Texas during undergrad seem super liberal (it was Houston, so not that surprising, but still, I didn’t think I’d have to go to Texas to find liberals). Now I’m in New York

I’m so sorry! I’m sending you some good vibes! I got a terrible tattoo removed and this was way back in the day before the technology was as good as it is now. It was just a nightmare- FAR more painful than childbirth. But it’ll be gone soon because tattoo lasers are awesome!

OMG I HOPE YOU GET THAT JOB!!!!

I read somewhere more competent people are more likely to burnout because they take on too much responsible. This happens because people know they can take care of business. We end up picking up for the slackers.

That sounds like a REALLY tough year. You’re awesome for putting your best foot forward and trying to make some changes, it’s a hard thing to do. I’m sending internet <3 and positive vibes.

Hey there, Jezzies!

Hey there! I don’t have a terrible amount to offer you, but pulling you out of the grays so others can help.

Consider them sent. Good luck and love 💕.

As cliche as it sounds I learned that I am strong than I think I am. A few years old I ended up homeless after my relationship broke down due to my mental illness. I had tried to commit suicide and was living in a homeless shelter but will help of a fantastic charity and very lovely lady called Elaine I got through

First you need perfect skin. :)

I would look like a panda bear if I tried doing Adele eyeliner.

Okay I’m just going to vent here:

I was asked to prom over AIM like a civilized person.

Having prom-asking being turned into some Huge Major Life Event Proposal is over the top and silly. These are teens! This is not a marriage proposal! STOP DOING THIS, KIDS!!! It’s seriously not that big a deal. It isn’t.

I can’t with these promposals. It’s fucking ridiculous. Too much pressure on a boy to come up with something over the top; too much pressure for a girl to accept a date she might not want because some guy has put in a lot of effort. Awkward phone calls are sweet. Getting a note passed in class asking you to prom is

the first time i saw a ‘promposal’ was on laguana beach and even though i was the same age as them i remember thinking ‘that is dumb’

Prom 2001 here. Yep, It was frosted eyeshadows, chunky heels and frosty matching dresses in pastels.
